Founded on June 1, 2002, the Manteca Mural Society is a non-profit(501C3) organization comprised of volunteers who share a passion for building a better community through public art.
We currently have 32 individual murals in public spaces throughout the city, highlighting the beauty and history of our city and region. We feel an enormous sense of pride, both in each mural individually, and also collectively, as they enhance our city’s image.
Each mural tells its own story, but as a whole, from the classic cars of “Cruising Manteca”, to the raw emotion of our latest addition, the Veterans Mural Project which consists of five 16’X20’ murals. They speak volumes about Manteca, its people, and our place in the world.
It’s an honor to be a part of something so big, and we welcome new members at all times. Together, we can do more.
